The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB and Heads of Tertiary Institutions in the country last Thursday, 22 July, 2022 fixed the minimum cut-off mark for admissions in the 2022/2023 academic session.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has issued provisional licences to four new private universities following Federal Executive Council’s approval for establishment of the universities during its meeting on 9 January, 2019.
The Federal government has directed all Federal universities operating on temporary campuses to move to their permanent sites for effective coordination. The Minister of Education Malam Adamu Adamu, gave the directive at the 2018 JAMB Policy Meeting on Admissions into Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria, held on Tuesday, 26th June 2018, at Gbongan, Osun State.
