The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced a new date for the implementation of the Access to Higher Education Act, otherwise known as the Students Loan Law, recently assented to by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
The Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, has disclosed that the planned deduction of 40% from the Internally Generated Revenue of federal varsities earlier implemented by the Federal Government has been suspended.
