Maritime Varsity gets NUC unidergraduate degree programmes approval

The NUC has granted approval to the National Maritime University Okerenkoko, Delta State to commence undergraduate academic activities in Transport, Engineering and Environmental Management faculties. The Federal Government has also approved an increase in the take off grant allocated to the university from 2Billion Naira to 5Billion Naira. This sum according to President Buhari was included in the 2018 budget presented to the National Assembly in November 2017. Similarly, an additional 1Billion Naira was approved by the President to support essential infrastructure works and staff recruitment in the university
