Former Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan and Chairman, NUC Skills Development Advisory Committee, Professor Olufemi Bamiro has called for the establishment of National Skills Development Agency (SDAC) to address the Skills gaps bedeviling the nation in critical sectors of the economy.
The Federal Executive Council has approved four new private universities Wednesday, 9th January 2019. The first meeting of the Council was presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari. Briefing State House correspondents, the Minister of Education, Mal. Adamu Adamu, gave the names of the universities as: Greenfield University, Kaduna; Dominion University, Ibadan, Oyo State; Trinity University, Ogun State; and Westland University in Iwo, Osun, State.
