The Executive Secretary, PTDF, Mr. Ahmed Galadima Aminu, on Thursday 21st August, 2025, led his management team on a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary, NUC, Professor Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu, FCVSN, where he expressed appreciation to the Commission for granting its College of Petroleum and Energy Studies (CPESK), Kaduna, license to operate as Postgraduate University.
The Tertiary Education Trust Fund TETFund has also assembled a team of experts to commence the selection of 10 beneficiary universities for the establishment of mechanised commercial farms and livestock operations in its 2025 intervention.
The Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Professor Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu, FCVSN, has called for more innovation in the Nigerian universities as a way of being relevant in the 21st century, stressing that universities must evolve from being just degree-awarding institutions to being drivers of innovation, skills and national progress
The NUC in partnership with the EFCC, last Wednesday, 9th July, 2025, convened a joint strategic meeting of the VCs of Federal and State Universities, targeted at promoting integrity and probity in financial management within the Nigerian universities and address issues of crass corruptions reportedly ongoing in the management of the student’s loan scheme.
