*Marking Schemes were not typed

*The curriculum of the programme wasn’t well presented

*Laboratory is inadequate for the programme

*Jamb subject combination is not in line with the provision of the BMAS for some students
*There was no Agric Extension Studio for the programme

 

*The quality of the presentation of the marking schemes should be improved
*The Curriculum of the programme should be in line with the provision of the BMAS/CCMAS
*Specialized laboratories in areas of Crop and Animal Science should be provided to ensure full coverage of the B.Agric programme
* Admission requirements should be adhered to in line with the provision of the BMAS
*Agric Extension Studio should be made available for the programme

 

The total score for the programme is 90.08%. It scored 28.7 (86.97%)  in Academic Matters, 30 (85.71%) in Staffing, 25 (92.59%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2.3 (76.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
