REMEDIES

1. Test and examination question do not contain applied questions to test the cognitive skills of students.
2. Essential laboratory equipment such as Oscilloscopes and Multimetre are not available in the Networking laboratory.
3. Funding is not adequate for the programme.

 

1. Applied questions should be emphasized to stimulate the students’ cognitive skills on the programme.
2. All essential laboratory equipment should be procured for the programme.
3. The university should adequately fund the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 91.74%. It scored 29 (87.88%)  in Academic Matters, 34 (97.14%) in Staffing, 25 (92.59%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
