1. Internal Quality Assurance Committee is not functional.
2. While practicum was conducted it was observed that student logbooks were not marked in some cases.
3. Staff offices are inadequate in space.
4. Physical library books are not very current.

 

1. The University should ensure that the Internal Quality Assurance Committee is functional.
2. Students’ practicum should be of good quality and adequately supervised.
3. The University should provide standard sized academic staff offices that are well-equipped.
4. Current books should be procured for the programme

 

The total score for the programme is 89.26%. It scored 30 (90.91%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (94.29%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
