1. The programme does not have innovative courses.

2. Only 52% of the academic staff are core to the subject area.

3. Only 52% of the academic staff has Ph.D.

4. Only 50% of the non- teaching staff have benefitted from staff
development program.

5. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

The total score for the programme is 85.20%. It scored 32.5 (88%)  in Academic Matters, 25 (71%) in Staffing, 25 (92%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
