1. Practical works per semester were found to be inadequate
2. Academic staff development program is grossly inadequate
3. Non-teaching staff development programs were not sufficient
4. Funding challenges were observed

 

1. More practical lessons per semester should be encouraged
2. The department should encourage more staff development programs
3. Non-teaching staff development program should be enhanced
4. There is need to improve funding for the department

 

The total score for the programme is 92.00%. It scored 35 (94.59%)  in Academic Matters, 28 (80.00%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
