1. Grading of marks are not consistent, no total marks on the scripts. 2. No Senior Lecturer in the Staff Mix by rank. 3. Only 23% of academic staff have benefitted from Staff Development Programme. 4. Some of the equipment are outdated and need replacement in the Laboratory. 5. Academic staff offices are inadequate in space. 6. Inadequate sand buckets and fire extinguishers in the Departmental Area. 7. Physical library books and journals are inadequate in number. 8. Funding for the programme is not adequate.

1. The University should improve the supervision of lecturers who mark student’s scripts during examinations. 2. The University should employ Senior Lecturers in consistence with NUC regulations. 3. The University should ensure that all Academic Staff benefit from the Staff Development Programme. 4. The University should replace old equipment with new equipment. 5. Standard (spacious) academic staff offices should be provided. 6. The University should ensure that adequate safety equipment is available in the Departmental Area. 7. More current books and journals should be procured for the programme. 8. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 88.00%. It scored 33 (89.19%) in Academic Matters, 33 (94.00%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
