1. There were less than 3 innovative courses in the curriculum. This did not meet up with the requirements of the NUC BMAS. 2. The staff mix by rank of 53.3:28.6:19.1 did not meet up with the NUC BMAS specifications of 20:35:45 3. Office accomodation was inadequate especially for Professors and Senior Lecturers. 4. Toilet facilities were in bad condition. 5. Funding is inadequate

1. The University should ensure that there is an inclusion of 4 or more additional/innovative courses in the curriculum. 2. The University should ensure that the staff mix by rank is in line with the provisions of the NUC BMAS. 3. The University should ensure that adequate office accomodation is provided for all lecturers. 4. The University should ensure that toilet facilities are improved. 5. The University should ensure that funding is improved for the programme.

The total score for the programme is 92.80%. It scored 34 (91.89%) in Academic Matters, 33 (94%) in Staffing, 24 (88.89%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
