1. The practical work done does not cover the curriculum in Timber grave yard and Forest Biometrics and inventory. 2. The programme does not have adequate number of laboratory attendants and Nursery attendants. 3. The laboratory lacks adequate equipment such as Hydrometer, Leaf Area Meter, Oven for wood drying, Electronic weighing balance, Germination boxes etc. 4. The Classroom do not have white boards and the furniture are 5. Staff office accommodation do not have adequate furnishing such as book shelves, refrigerator, and file cabinet. 6. Library books and Journals are inadequate in number and coverage in Wood Science, and Forest Extension , Economy and Policy. 7. The monthly imprest of thirty thousand naira a month is inadequate.

1. The University should ensure that students practical work adequately covers the curriculum. 2. The Institution is advised to engage more laboratory and Nursery attendants for the programme. 3. The University should provide Hydrometer, Leaf Area Meter, Oven, Electronic weighing balance and Germination boxes. 4. The Institution is Advised to provide white boards and adequate furniture in the classrooms. 5. The University should ensure that academic staff offices are well equipped. 6. More Library books and Journals in Wood Science, Forest Extension and Policy should be provided for the programme. The University should provide more funding for the programme.

The total score for the programme is 82.3%. It scored 33 (84.8%) in Academic Matters, 33 (97%) in Staffing, 27 (66.6%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (83.3%) in Library. The programme scored 3 (33.3%) in Funding, 3 (100%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored less than 70% in any of the four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme.
B. APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION
Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme
