Inadequate number of core academic staff for the programme.

Academic staff offices are inadequate in space and number

Library journals of local authors are inadequate in numbers

 

There is a need for the university to employ more core academic staff for the programme

The university should make provision for more staff offices for lecturers of the programme

The university should provide more physical journals by local authors for the programme

 

The total score for the programme is 77.89%. It scored 29.75 (85.00%)  in Academic Matters, 26 (74%) in Staffing, 19 (70.37%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2.5 (83.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
