1. 65.22% of the academic staff have not benefited from the Staff Development Programme in the past 3 years.

2. 88.89% of the non- academic staff have not benefited from the Staff Development Programme in the past 3 years.

3. Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Development Kit is not available in the laboratory.

4. No multidisciplinary approach to research and inter university collaboration.

 

1. The University is encouraged to ensure that all academic staff benefit from the Staff Development Programme.

2. The University is encouraged to ensure that all non-academic staff benefit from the Staff Development Programme.

3. The University should procure all essential laboratory equipment for the programme.

4. Multidisciplinary approach should be applied.

 

The total score for the programme is 89.40%. It scored 36.5 (98.65%)  in Academic Matters, 26 (74%) in Staffing, 24.75 (91.67%) in Physical Facilities, 17.5 (97.22%) in Library. The programme scored 2.5 (83.33%) in Funding, 2.5 (83.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
