REMEDIES

1. Access to the library e-resources is localized to the library complex.

2. Academic staff offices are not furnished with air conditioners and filing cabinets.

3. Funding is inadequate for the programme.

 

1. Campus Hotspots and Intranet should be provided for ease of access to e-resources in the library.

2. Adequate number of well-furnished offices should be provided for the academic staff of the programme.
3. The programme should be adequately funded.

 

The total score for the programme is 95.80%. It scored 33 (100.00%)  in Academic Matters, 35 (100.00%) in Staffing, 25 (93%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.7%) in Funding, 2 (66.7%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
