1. The academic regulation were not captured in the student’s handbook.
2. Only 3% of non-academic staff benefited from the staff development programme in the past three years.
3. The office space is inadequate as professorial offices are shared with senior lecturer and lecturer 11.
4. The library holdings are inadequate in number.

 

1. The University should ensure that academic regulation is captured in the student’s handbook
2. The University should ensure that all non-academic staff benefit from the staff development programme.
3. The University should ensure they provide adequate accommodation for the staff of the programme.
4. The University should procure more physical books for the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 84.80%. It scored 32 (86.4%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 14 (77%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.6%) in Funding, 3 (100%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored less than 70% in any of the four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme
