1. Courses taken at recommended levels is not in compliance with the prescribed CCMAS implementation.
2. 30.8% of non-academic staff have not benefited from staff development.
3. Some essential Laboratory equipment are not available.

 

1. The University must ensure that courses for programmes are in compliance with the prescribed CCMAS implementation.
2. The University should ensure that all non-academic staff benefits from staff development programme.
3. The University should procure potentiometre and Digital storage oscillator of higher range (750MH3) and sensitivity for the programme

 

The total score for the programme is 87.20%. It scored 30 (81.08%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (94.29%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
