1. There is no student logbook for proper records of the programme.
2. Academic staff offices are ill-equipped, and some professorial offices have no television or refrigerator.
3.Physical books are inadequate in number.
4. The Internet hotspot is only available within the library.
5.There is no multidisciplinary approach to research.

 

1. logbooks should be provided for proper records.
2. The University should ensure all offices are well-equipped with televisions and refrigerators.
3. More books should be procured for the programme.
4. Internet Hotspots should be extended to other parts of the campus for easy access to e-resources in the library.
5. The University should ensure that there is a multi-disciplinary approach to research in the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 87.39%. It scored 30 (90.91%)  in Academic Matters, 34 (97.14%) in Staffing, 21 (77.78%) in Physical Facilities, 14 (77.78%) in Library. The programme scored 3 (100.00%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
