1. The Curriculum is substantially covered.

3. Standard of test and examination questions do not cover the curriculum.

1. The University should ensure that the curriculum of the programme is well covered.
2. The University should ensure that students’ handbook is made available to all students and well publicized.
3. The University should ensure Tests and examination questions adequately cover the curriculum.
4. The University should ensure Quality assurance system is effective.
5. The University should ensure All academic staff of the programme benefit from staff development programme.
6. The University should ensure all non-academic staff are trained for optimum productivity.
7. More fire extinguishers should be provided.
8. The University should provide more physical library holdings.

 

The total score for the programme is 87.16%. It scored 27 (84.38%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (88%) in Staffing, 14 (87.50%) in Physical Facilities, 16.5 (91.67%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2.5 (83.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
