REMEDIES

1. Standard of Test did not cover the curriculum.

2. Practical work is not adequately covered the curriculum .

3. Students Course evaluation is not adequate.

4. Internal quality assurance does not exist at all levels

5. Staff mix by rank met only in one category which is Professorial cadre
6. 63.6% of teaching staff have Ph.D

7. Laboratory Space meets below 70% NUC Benchmark
8. Laboratory equipment meets below 70% of NUC Benchmark

1. Some indept coverage is required to improve since there are few animals in place.
2. University should endeavor to cover all practical works stated in the curriculum.
3. Learning contents and materials should be improved.

4. University should create existence of quality assurance at all levels both management, faculty and departments.
5. There should be balance in staffing 20%:35%:45%
6. University should encourage all teaching staff to obtain Ph.D in their fields.

7. A more spacious Laboratory is needed for the Programme.
8. University should boost up laboratory equipment to meet up with NUC BMAS
9. There is need to provide adequate classroom chairs and smart boards for the programme.
10. University should provide adequate office space and equipment for the staff especially for senior lecturers and professorial cadres.
11. More current books and journals are needed In the physical library.

12. More funds should be allocated to the department.
