1. The Curriculum does not cover areas of applied theatre arts.
2. Smoke machines and Fresnel light are not available for the programme.
3. Classrooms are not equipped with public address systems and projectors.
4. Physical books and journals are not adequate in number for the programme.
5. Funding is not adequate for the programme.

 

1. The university should ensure that the curriculum covers all areas of the programme adequately.
2. The university should procure Smoke machines and Fresnel lights for the programme.
3. Projectors and public address system should be provided in the classrooms.
4. The university should procure more current books and journals for the programme.
5. The programme should be adequately funded by the university.

 

The total score for the programme is 92.80%. It scored 36 (97.30%)  in Academic Matters, 35 (100.00%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
