1. The laboratory space does not meet the NUC prescribed Standards
2. Essential Laboratory equipment are inadequate in number for the programme.
3. Academic staff offices are inadequate in space and not well furnished.
4. Technologist have no specific designation, engaged according to their qualification and experiences

 

1. The University should ensure to provide Laboratories in compliance to the NUC Prescribed Standards.
2. The University should procure standard and complete laboratory equipment for the programme.
3. Standard and adequately furnished academic staff offices should be provided for the programme.
4. Technologist should have specific designation, engaged according to their qualification and experiences

 

The total score for the programme is 77.69%. It scored 25 (75.76%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 19 (70.37%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 1 (33.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
