1. Only 52% of the Academic Staff benefited from staff developments

2. External Examiner was engaged for maximum of 2 years.

3. 58% person of the non-academic staff benefited from staff development.

4. The Library books and journals are inadequate in number, coverage and currency.

5. Funding of the programme is inadequate

6. No Multidisciplinary approach engaged in research and collaboration.

 

1. The University should ensure that all academic staff benefit from the Staff Development Programme.

2. External Examiner should be engaged for maximum of 2 years only.

3. The University should ensure that all academic staff benefit from the Staff Development Programme.

4. More current books and journals should be procured for the programme.

5. The programme should be adequately funded.

6. Multidisciplinary approach should be engaged in research and collaboration.

 

The total score for the programme is 81.65%. It scored 27 (84.38%)  in Academic Matters, 29 (83%) in Staffing, 16 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 13 (72.22%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 1 (33.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
