The Non teaching staff are not adequate in number in laboratory. Just few non teaching staff benefitted from the staff development. The safety equipment are not modern and some have expired. There is no provision for physically challenged students in the library. There is no adequate books and journals in the library. Funds are adequate but need to be improved.

The university should employ more non teaching staff to assist in the laboratory. The University should train more non teaching staff to enable them be effective on their job. The university should provide modern safety devices in the laboratory. The university should make provision for physically challenged students in the library. The university should provide more books and journals to cover more aspects of the programme. More funds are needed for the programme to purchase more equipment in the laboratory.

The total score for the programme is 84.96%. It scored 25 (86.21%) in Academic Matters, 27 (81.82%) in Staffing, 25 (92.59%) in Physical Facilities, 14 (77.78%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
