1. Courses like GST111 “Communication in English I”, ENG 105 “Introduction to Linguistics” and ENG103 “Practical Spoken English” were not in accordance with the 2007 BMAS.

 

1. The University should be advised to align the curriculum with the 2007 BMAS.

 

The total score for the programme is 95.38%. It scored 30.5 (92.42%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (94%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
