1. Some marking scheme were not inconsistent with marks allocated. 2. Practical’s done are not of good quality. 3. 60% of the academic staff do not have Ph.D. degree. 5. The following equipment in the Med-Surge, Mental health, Public health and Nursing Research laboratories are not adequate: Manikins, Forceps, Mothercraft tools and Trauma. In addition, there are no projectors and multimedia teaching aids for the programme. 6. Furniture in the classrooms are not well maintained. 7. Some academic Staff offices are inadequate in space and lacks book shelves and filing cabinets. 8. Physical Library books and Journals are inadequate in number. 9. The University subscribed to only one database.

1. The University should ensure that marks allocated is inconsistent with the marking scheme. 2. Instructors should improve on their practical skill to guide the students appropriately. 3. All academic staff should be encouraged to obtain Ph.D. degree. 4. The University should ensure that all Academic and Non-teaching staff benefit from Staff Development programme. 5. The University should ensure that all essential laboratory equipment should be provided for the programme. 6. Furniture items in classrooms should be well maintained. 7. Adequate number of well-furnished offices should be provided for the academic staff of the programme. 8. More current books and journals should be procured for the programme. 9. The total score for the programme is 76.7%. It scored 29 (88%) in Academic Matters, 25 (72%) in Staffing, 20 (74.1%) in Physical Facilities, 13.5 (75.0%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.6%) in Funding, 1 (33.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
