1. Quality assurance committee exist but meetings are irregular. 2. The classrooms and lecture theatres are inadequate in space,and there are no public address system boards and projectors. 3. There is need for a Bioinformatic laboratory for the programme 4. Funding is inadequate for the programme.

1. The University should ensure that Quality assurance committee should hold meetings regularly. 2. Standard classrooms and lecture theatres should be provided for the programme. In addition, functional projectors and public address system should be installed. 3. The University should ensure that it provides a Bioinformatic laboratory. 4. The University should ensure it provide adequate funding for the programme.

The total score for the programme is 91.20%. It scored 36 (97.30%) in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
