1. 37.5% of the academic staff do not have Ph.D. degrees.

2. 25% of the academic Staff have not benefitted from staff development programme.

3. There is the need to establish and equip a resource room for the programme.

4. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

 

1. All academic staff should be encouraged to obtain Ph.D. degrees.

2. All academic staff should be encouraged to benefit from staff development programme.

3. The University should ensure the establishment of a well-equipped resource room for the programme.

4. Improved funding is required to properly maintain existing physical facilities.

 

The total score for the programme is 95.69%. It scored 29 (96.67%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (94.29%) in Staffing, 26 (96.30%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
