1. 25% of the academic Staff have not benefitted from staff development programme. 2. 37.5% of the academic staff do not have Ph.D. degrees. 3. There is the need to procure more equipment to the geography laboratory. 4. 5. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

1. All academic staff should be encouraged to benefit from staff development programme. 2. All academic staff should be encouraged to obtain Ph.D. degrees. 3. The university should procure more equipment such as digitizers, GIS devices and softwares such as QGIS and Super GIS. 4. Improved funding is required to properly maintain existing physical facilities.

The total score for the programme is 94.21%. It scored 32 (91.43%) in Academic Matters, 33 (94%) in Staffing, 26 (96%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.7%) in Funding, 3 (100%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
