1. Test and Examination questions inadequately
cover the curriculum.
2. Teaching practice office is not provided for the
programme.
3. Some staff offices have no bookshelves and
offices cabinets.
4. 36% of academic staff and 50% of non academic
staff have not benefitted from Staff
Development Programme.

2. The University should ensure that teaching
practice office is provided for students use.
3. The Programme should ensure that all staff
offices are adequately furnished.

4. The University should ensure that all academic and no academic staff benefit from the Staff Development Programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 91.20%. It scored 34 (92%)  in Academic Matters, 32 (91%) in Staffing, 24 (89%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
