1. Interactions with some sample of Students across all revealed that they did not demonstrate requisite skills for the programme.

2. The number of non-teaching staff available for the programme is not consistent with the provision of the NUC BMAS/CCMA.

3. Fire extinguishers and sand buckets are inadequate in classrooms and staff offices for the programme.

4. Some books and journals are not current for the programme,

5. Funding for the programme is inadequate

 

1. The University should ensure that students acquire and demonstrate requisite skills for the programme.

2. The University should recruit more non-teaching staff in consistence with the NUC BMAS/CCMAS for the programme.

3. The University should ensure that fire extinguishers and sand buckets in classrooms and staff offices are adequate for the programme.

4. The University should procure more current books and journals for the programme.

5. The programme should be adequately funded. .

 

The total score for the programme is 94.95%. It scored 30.5 (95.31%)  in Academic Matters, 34 (97%) in Staffing, 15 (93.75%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
