REMEDIES

1. The student handbook that in faculty handbook should be remove to the
department.
2.There is no technical or laboratory staff for the programm, however the
administrative are not adequate in number.
3. The laboratories of child development, food and nutrition do not have adequate equipment.
4. Practical work was conducted only in the child development laboratory but is not of good quality, there was no evidence of any practical work for the clothing and textile, food nutrition and home management laboratories.

 

1. The University should ensure that the student handbook should remove
to the departmental handbook not faculty handbook.
2. The University should make sure that is need to employe technical or
laboratory staff.
3. The University should make ensure they provide adequate
laboratories equipment for the child development and food nutrition.
4. The should make sure there is need to provide furniture and
furnishing including equipment for the laboratories and home trained
laboratory staff to provide support for student

 

The total score for the programme is 86.55%. It scored 25 (75.76%)  in Academic Matters, 32 (92%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
