The University allotted the entire 2nd semester 3rd year to teaching practice thereby omitting compulsory courses and practicals such as MTH 313, MTH 322 and MTH 316 from the curriculum

 

The University should ensure the inclusion of MTH 313, MTH 322 and MTH 316 courses in the curriculum and also ensure that teaching practices is done during the long vacations of 200L and 300L year in line with the BMAS/CCMAS.

 

The total score for the programme is 97.60%. It scored 35 (94.59%)  in Academic Matters, 35 (100.00%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 3 (100.00%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
