REMEDIES

1. The office accommodation is not adequate in terms of space though adequately funish
2. Though available ebooks and physical holdings are adequate, there is need for more physical holdings

3. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

 

1. The University should ensure adequate space for all categories of staff to make their offices conducive.

2. The University should ensure that more physical holdings be procured for the library

3. The programme should be adequately funded.

 

The total score for the programme is 90.40%. It scored 32 (86.49%)  in Academic Matters, 34 (97.14%) in Staffing, 25 (92.59%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
