1. The university needs offices for the staff of the programme.
2. Books and journals in the physical library are inadequate in number and currency.
3. The laboratories need modern equipment for the programme.
4. The university needs to improve on staff development.
5. the slow internet connectivity impedes access to e-books and journals by students and staff of the programme.

The total score for the programme is 63.00%. It scored 27 (73%)  in Academic Matters, 27.25 (78%) in Staffing, 12.5 (46.3%) in Physical Facilities, 5.5 (30.56%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 1.5 (75.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored less than 70% in any of the four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme
