3. Staff offices are inadequate in space and not well furnished
4. The books and journals are inadequate in number and coverage

 

1. Design of Experiment II & Introduction to Chemistry should be included in the curriculum.
2. Staff mix by rank should be consistent in the 3 categories
3. The staff offices should be spacious and adequately furnished
4. More books should be procured in the physical library

 

The total score for the programme is 82%. It scored 31 (83.78%)  in Academic Matters, 26 (74%) in Staffing, 22.5 (83%) in Physical Facilities, 16.5 (92%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (67%) in Funding, 2.5 (83%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
