1. Communication principles (EEE412) does not adequately cover the curriculum, as core topics such as Basic Antenna Theory, Error detection & Correction in pulse modulation as well as differentials PCM (DPCM) were omitted 2. Basic laboratory equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyser, and ADC Trainers were lacking. 3. Academic staff offices are inadequate in space 4. Books and journals are inadequate in number in the physical library 5. No research collaboration with an institution, except for an industry which is not multidisciplinary in approach 6. Funding is inadequate

1. The University should ensure that all topics required in each course is adequately covered in the curriculum as required for the programme. 2. Modern and adequate laboratory equipment needs to be provided for the programme 3. Adequate and well furnished offices should be provided for the programme 4. More books and journals should be provided for the programme 5. The University should engage in research and collaboration with multidisciplinary approach 6. Adequate funds should be provided for the programme

The total score for the programme is 86.40%. It scored 32 (86.49%) in Academic Matters, 33 (94%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 1 (33.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
