1. There is Block allocation of marks to questions. 2. Senior Lecturers are inadequate in number for the programme. 3. 40% of the academic staff do not have P.hD. degree. 4. Chemistry laboratory do not have the following essential equipment specified in the BMAS : such as IR, MMR and AAS. 5. Smart Boards and Projetors are inadequate in number .

1. Block allocation of marks to examination questions should be discouraged. 2. More Senior Lecturers should be employed for the programme to balance the Staff Mix by Rank. 3. All Academic staff should be encouraged to obtain the P.hD. degree. 4. All essential laboratory equipment should be provided for the programme in line with the BMAS. 5. More smart boards and projectors should be provided for the programme.

The total score for the programme is 91.06%. It scored 33 (94.29%) in Academic Matters, 33 (94%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
