1. Examination questions and marking guides substantially covered the curriculum. 2. The ratio of teaching staff core to the programme, provided for only 62.5 % of the teaching staff need. 3. 37.5% of academic staff do not have PhD. degree programme. 4. Classroom space is inadequate 5. Office equipment for academic staff such as bookshelves, file cabinets and air conditioners are not available. 6. Library books and journals are inadequate in number and currency. 7. The library subscription to e-books and e-journals is active to at least one (1) relevant data base in addition to open source for the programme. 8. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

1. The University should ensure that the curriculum are fully covered for the programme. 2. The University should ensure that the ratio of teaching staff core to the subject area provides for 75% or more of the teaching. 3. The University should ensure that all academic staff have PhD degree programme. 4. The University should provide more classroom space. 6. More current books and journals should be procured for the programme. 8. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 83.50%. It scored 26 (92.86%) in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 12 (75.00%) in Physical Facilities, 13 (72.22%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
B. APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION
Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
