REMEDIES

1. Academic Staff Offices are inadequate in numbers and space some senior lecturers shared offices

2. Library books and journals are inadequate in number and coverage

3. Inadequate funding for the proramme

 

1. The University should provide adequate academic staff offices especially
senior lecturers

2. More current books and journals should be precure in the physical library library

3. The Univresity should provide adequate funding for the programme

 

The total score for the programme is 90.18%. It scored 30 (93.75%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (94.29%) in Staffing, 17 (89.47%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
