1. Marking Scheme should be made to have course codes
2. The University should ensure that more of the academic Staff are
core to the subject Area
3. The University should ensure Adequate Number of Non-Academic
Staff for the Programme
4. All of the Academic Staff should be encouraged to benefit from the
Staff development programme
5. All of the Non-Academic Staff should be encouraged to benefit from
the Staff development programme

 

The total score for the programme is 71.49%. It scored 26.5 (80.30%)  in Academic Matters, 21 (60.00%) in Staffing, 20 (74.07%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 0 (0.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored less than 70% in any of the four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme
