2. The University should ensure that the internal quality assurance committee is functional and effective at both the faculty and departmental levels.
3. The University should ensure that all the academic staff benefit from the staff development programme
4. The University should ensure that all the non-academic staff benefit from the staff development programme
5. The University should ensure that the programme is adequately funded

 

The total score for the programme is 90.00%. It scored 32.7 (88.38%)  in Academic Matters, 32 (91.43%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
