1. There is no evidence of Internal Quality Assurance committee at the Departmental level 2. There is a shortfall within the Senior Lecturer Cadre. 3. Only 66.7% of the Teaching Staff benefitted from Staff Development. 4. There is only inclusion of three (3) innovative courses in the curriculum. 5. There is no evidence of Institutional Research collaboration. 6. There is no evidence of Tracer System in place in the Department.

1. The Department is encouraged to establish an Internal Quality Assurance committee 2. There is a need for more Staff within the Senior Lecturer Cadre. 3. The University should encourage Staff Development for Teaching Staff in the Department. 4. There should be inclusion of more innovative courses in the curriculum. 5. Institutional Research Collaboration such as AERC, GDN/IMF should be encouraged. 6. The Department is encouraged to establish the Tracer System.

The total score for the programme is 91.67%. It scored 29 (90.63%) in Academic Matters, 33 (94.29%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 1 (33.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
