REMEDIES

1. Internet connectivity was slow during the time of visit.
2. Some of the Staff offices were not adequately furnished.
3. Furniture and equipment in the Model office are not of old fashioned. The office has no inter-corm or call bell.
4. Some of the Topics of final year projects did not reflect the critical areas of Business Education
5. Funding is inadequate for the programme.

 

1. The University should ensure that the internet speed is enhanced for ease of access.

2. All Staff offices should be adequately furnished and maintained.

3. The Model office needs to be upgraded with modern furniture such as Swivel Chairs, Tables and equipment including bells or inter-corm.

4. The Topics for final year projects should always focus on the core areas of Business Education.

5. The programme should be adequately funded.

 

The total score for the programme is 92.80%. It scored 34 (91.89%)  in Academic Matters, 35 (100.00%) in Staffing, 24 (88.89%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
