1. Staff by rank of 21:31:48 is constent with NUC guide line in only one category
2. 8.3% of the Non-Academic Staff benefited from Staff Development Programme.
3. Staff offices are inadequate in number.
4. Laboratory equipment are inadequate for the Programme.
5. Funding for the Programme is inadequate.

 

1. The University should ensure Staff mix of 20:35:45 for the Programme.
2. The University should ensure all Non-Academic Staff benefit from Staff Development Programme.
3. Standard Staff offices should be provided for the Programme.
4. The University should procure the following equipment for the Programme ; Refractor meter,Uv lamp,Ultra Microtone,Tabletting Machine, Landendoff, Infusion and Peristalsis pulms and Hot plates.
5. Standard Animal House with equipment such as wire cages of different sizes, Racks, drinking bottles, and feeding containers should be provided for the Programme.
6. The Programme should be adequately funded.

 

The total score for the programme is 84.62%. It scored 29.7 (90.00%)  in Academic Matters, 29.7 (84.86%) in Staffing, 21 (77.78%) in Physical Facilities, 16.3 (90.56%) in Library. The programme scored 1.7 (56.67%) in Funding, 2.3 (76.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
