1. Academic Staff Offices are inadequate in number. 2. The staff mix by rank of 29.4:29.4:41.1 does not meet the NUC approved guidelines in all categories. 3. The Senior Lecturers and Lecturer I are not well developed. 4. There is no Non-teaching staff like typist and Laboratory attendant. 5. The Laboratory does not have the following equipment: Projectors, Public address system, mixer, Industrial Oven, Learning Toys. 6. The space for the Home Management Residence is not adequate and the location is not appropriately located.

1. More Standard offices should be provided for the programme. 2. The University should ensure a staff mix by rank of 20:35:45 in line with the NUC approved guidelines. 3. The University should train and develop the Senior Lecturers and Lecturer I. 4. The University should employ non-teaching staff like typist and Laboratory attendant. 5. The University should ensure provision of Projectors, Public address system, mixer, Industrial Oven in the laboratory and more Learning Toys in the Creche. 6. The University should provide a purpose built Home Management Residence with adequate space and appropriately located.

The total score for the programme is 88.00%. It scored 35 (94.59%) in Academic Matters, 31 (89%) in Staffing, 20 (74.07%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
