1. 200 level core course, Engineering Mathematics is omitted in the curriculum. 3. The staff/student ratio is 1:17, it does not complied with NUC guidelines of 1:15 4. Staff Mix by rank 36:6:29.3:34.1 is not consistent with NUC guideline by virtue of high proportion of professors. 5. The number of Technologists for the programme is inadequate. 6. None of the non academic staff benefited from staff development. 7. Academic Staff offices are not adequately furnished with modern file cabinet, air conditioner, refrigerators. 8. Equipment such as signal strength meter is not available in the laboratory. Digital signal generator and oscilloscopes are not adequate. 9. Research and collaboration does not have a multidisciplinary approach. 10. Funding for the programme is inadequate

1. This core courses should be added to the curriculum in line with the BMAS. 2. Student practical should be spread to cover the curriculum. 3. The University should ensure the staff/student ratio complies with NUC guidelines of 1:15. 5. Additional Technologists should be recruited for the programme. 6. The University should ensure all non academic staff benefit from staff development. 8. The University should provide these equipments. 9. The University should ensure research and collaboration have a multidisciplinary approach. 10. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 81.60%. It scored 31 (83.78%) in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 19 (70.37%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 1 (33.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
B. APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION
Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
