1. There was no degree project

2. No external examiner to any programme

3. Only 7(38.9%) of the teaching staff of the department benefited from staff development programme.

4. No non-teaching staff benefited from the staff development
programme.

3. There is need to improve academic staff training programme.

4. The University complained of lack of fund.

 

The total score for the programme is 76.42%. It scored 32.533 (87.93%)  in Academic Matters, 23 (66%) in Staffing, 24 (88.89%) in Physical Facilities, 11 (61.11%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored less than 70% in any of the four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme
