1. Staff Mix by rank of 20:20:60 meet NUC guidelines in only Professorial Category. 2. Academic Staff Development of 40% and 25% for Non-Academic Staff is very poor. 3. Laboratory equiptment for the programme is not adequate. Examples include: 4. Physical Library Holdings for the programme are not adequate 5. Subscription and accessibility to e-resources are not adequate 6. Few fire extinguishers and sand buckets are available in the facilities for the programme 7. The programme is headed by a Part-Time Staff

1. The University should employ Qualified academic Staff across rank for the programme 2. Staff Development for the programme should be vigorously improved upon 3. The University should procure the required Laboratory equipment as soon as possible 4. The University should procure more relevant and current books for the programme. 5. More Active databases should be subscribed for the programme and accessibility improved. 6. More Fire extinguishers and Sand bucket should be procured for the facilities 7. The University should employ a Full-Time academic Staff to head the Programme.

The total score for the programme is 76.71%. It scored 28.25 (91.13%) in Academic Matters, 21 (63.64%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 13.5 (75.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored less than 70% in any of the four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme.
